Since 1998, I spent my 1st 10 years of career in China academia on (university) research & education in computer science & engineering. In 2007, I was confident enough to part way with China's university system and joined the tech startup world. Ever since, I've been working solely on privately funded tech ventures or businesses. In 2009, I started my 1st startup. Ever since, I’ve been designing products & digital solutions, and occasionally building startups/businesses around them.

During my first decades of career, I’ve been designing and building tech products with partners and clients, covering IoT (Internet-of-Things), crypto/blockchain, Web3 apps, corporate IT and tech writing, and lately, agentic systems driven by LLMs and fast-paced innovations.
I'm transitioning myself to become Full-stack Builder and Coach. I'd take interim roles in Web3/AI startups though. I've been blessed to be able to work with world-class partners from around the world, to help people transform themselves to meet the future challenges and embrace the future opportunities, especially those from
